The taste and life-giving properties of the cacao bean have been known and enjoyed for millenia, but rather than adding sugar to the cacao bean, Kapakapa blends it with another ancient super-food - the carob pod. These ingredients are full of goodness and give a delicious, rich, bitter-sweet flavour, without added sugar or sweeteners.
At Kapakapa, we wanted to make a simple, real food. So we use only four basic ingredients : carob, cocoa, cacao liquor and water. Our taste comes solely from these quality ingredients, not flavourings, and careful processing means we do not need to use preservatives. Using fair-trade, organically grown ingredients, we combine the best flavours and traditions of Mesoamerica and the Eastern Mediterranean to bring you the one and only Kapakapa.
Kapakapa is produced from Cocoa powder, Cocoa Liquor, Carob, and a little water - absolutely nothing else is added. Our ingredients come from the Mediterranean and Central America, where they have been grown for millenia.
Kapakapa's rich flavour comes from its unique, all natural blend of cacao and carob, leaving it totally free of any added preservatives, flavours, sugar or sweeteners. Kapakapa - the best thing that happened to the cacao pod since people started drinking it.
